Why did you choose to work at Simformotion?
I started as an intern over 12 years ago while attending Bradley University, and I became full-time a year later.
What’s your role and what are your responsibilities?
I am the engineer responsible for designing hardware for new and existing products.
What are some of your professional goals?
My goal is to help increase our platform so we can continue to deliver the best possible heavy equipment operator simulator training experience to our clients.
Tell us about your professional experience.
I’ve been with Simformotion since I graduated college, which was during our Gen 2 standalone days. I helped develop and introduce our Gen 4 hardware with conversion kits and the accessories that accompany our simulators.
What have your years of professional experience taught you? What career advice would you give someone?
Be a lifelong learner and have confidence in yourself.
What’s been your biggest accomplishment professionally or in life?
Professionally, my biggest accomplishment has been the inception of our Gen 4 products, which make hardware conversions possible on a single (mobile) chassis. In life, bringing my son, Henry, into the world. He’ll be three years old in July.
