Why did you choose to work at Simformotion?
I joined Simformotion because I deeply believe in the problems we’re solving and how we’re solving them. We’re operating at the frontline of where technology meets dirt, transforming real-world worksites with solutions that make training safer, smarter, and more accessible.
The operator shortage, the need for safer jobsites, and the pressure to improve efficiency are not just abstract challenges; they shape the future of every industry we serve. Our simulation-based solutions help companies develop skilled operators, reduce risk, and strengthen their bottom line, all while creating new pathways for youth to step directly into the trades and heavy equipment careers.
But what really sealed it for me was the people. This team shows up with passion. They care about our customers, our mission, and the impact of our technology. It’s rare to find a group that blends humility, innovation, and a genuine drive to make a difference, and that’s exactly what I found here.
What’s your job title, role and responsibilities?
I serve as the Vice President of Revenue, overseeing both Sales and Marketing. My role is to ensure that the stories we tell, the relationships we build, and the value we deliver all align to support sustainable, measurable growth for our customers and our business.

How do you/your team help our clients' training programs succeed?
Simformotion’s impact is rooted in transforming how organizations train operators.
Our Cat® Simulators provide authentic, high-fidelity machine experiences backed by real Cat® controls and applications that allow operators to safely build muscle memory, confidence, and mastery without using fuel, generating emissions, or taking machines out of production.
We also combine simulation with curriculum and data:
- SimScholars® provides turnkey training that moves learners to proficiency faster.
- SimU Campus™ and records management tools help organizations track progress, measure outcomes, and refine training programs.
- Partnerships, such as those with NCCER, expand our solutions into industry-recognized credential pathways that help attract new talent and build a pipeline of safe, productive operators.
In short, our team helps clients expand their training programs with solutions that are safer, more cost-effective, and more future-ready than traditional on-the-iron approaches.
What career/life advice would you give someone?
Show up with curiosity and humility. These two qualities create momentum—they help you see opportunities others miss and build the kind of relationships that move work forward.
Progress comes from choosing to take on the hard things, not avoiding them. The people who grow the fastest and make the biggest impact are those willing to lean into the tough decisions that stretch their abilities and expand what they’re capable of.
