Why did you choose to work at Simformotion?
My career started 30 years ago with our sister company, CSE Software. When Simformotion was founded, I made the move because I wanted the opportunity to learn something new and help fill a need on the inventory side of the business. What has kept me here is that Simformotion has consistently given me opportunities to grow, learn, and take on new challenges. Over the years, I’ve appreciated being part of a company that is always evolving and looking ahead, while still staying grounded in strong relationships and a commitment to serving our clients well.
What’s your job title, role and responsibilities?
I am the Vice President of Operations. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work across several areas of the company, including Inventory, Warehouse Management, Sales and Marketing, and Product Planning Strategy. These roles have given me a broad understanding of how the company functions and how different teams work together. In my current role, I focus on coordinating people, processes, and priorities to ensure smooth operations, facilitate scalable growth, deliver top customer service and promote sustainable development.
Favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is the people. I really enjoy building alignment across teams, helping people succeed and championing our culture. Creating an environment where people feel supported, connected, and clear on priorities matters deeply to me. I also enjoy bringing structure to ideas and seeing them turn into meaningful improvements for our employees, our clients and the future of the business.
How do you/your team help our clients’ training programs succeed?
My team helps our clients succeed by ensuring the experience behind our products is reliable, responsive and built for long-term value. That means supporting strong internal processes, delivering high-quality solutions, and making it easier for customers to access the tools, service, and resources they need. We are always looking for ways to improve consistency, communication, and efficiency so our clients can stay focused on what matters most—developing safe, skilled and confident operators.
What career/life advice would you give someone?
Be willing to keep learning, stay open to change, and do not underestimate the value of consistency. Growth often comes from showing up, solving problems, and stepping into challenges that stretch you, even when they are outside your comfort zone. When you see a need, be willing to fill it. Show that you want to learn, take initiative, and do the job before you are asked. I also believe it is important to think beyond the task at hand, understand how your work connects to the bigger picture, and look for ways to create value over time. That mindset can make a real difference in both your career and your life.
